SPECIFICATIONS:

The tyre tread trimming pliers are the first tool of their kind designed specifically for MTB tyres. The main advantage of the pliers is that the cutting depth is adjustable, which makes it possible to cut at exactly the right height and prepare the optimum tread pattern.
Cutting the tyre supports optimal riding. Shortening the tread in the centre of the mud tyre, for example, will result in the wheel rolling more smoothly. The tread protrusions in the shoulder area can be trimmed, giving more free space, making the tread more aggressive. The projections that have been worn "round" can again have a "sharp" edge.
