The Wanderfreund Makalu multifunctional trekking poles by the prestigious brand LEKI are designed to provide you with excellent support and balance and to take the strain off your spine and joints, especially when going downhill during hiking. They are made entirely of 7075 aluminium alloy with an extremely high hardness, which gives the entire structure incredible strength and resilience. They have a three-section construction and the intuitive Speed Lock 2 adjustment system, thanks to which the length can be quickly and individually adjusted between 63 and 120 cm, and the SLS (Super Lock System) locking system ensures optimum safety by preventing the pole from folding up even when carrying heavy loads. Comfort and freedom of movement during hiking are ensured by the perfectly shaped, ergonomic Aergomed handle, equipped with a robust and practical hand strap to maintain a secure grip. Its construction, without the outer edges, perfectly fits the hand, ensuring comfort even during long hours of expeditions, and the material used in its construction perfectly prevents excessive sweating and slipping on the handle. The poles feature a Flex Tip, made from extremely hard and abrasion resistant metal, providing excellent grip on any terrain, plus they have been fitted with a Rubber Tip Trreking, made from vulcanised material, which is ideal for hard surfaces such as asphalt or concrete.
