The SHERPA LITE multifunctional trekking poles from the prestigious LEKI brand come from the new mountaineering collection and are designed to provide increased support and increase the body's performance in difficult mountain ascents and descents during demanding trekking. They are made of high quality HST 6.5 grade aluminium alloy, characterised by a positive ratio of weight to strength, while maintaining high resistance to fracture or other mechanical damage, thus extending the life of the model. They have a three-section construction, whose length range from 100-135 cm is easily adjustable thanks to the Speed Lock 2 length adjustment system which, unlike its older predecessor, the Speed Lock system, is 30% smaller, 25% lighter and its locking power 20% higher! The external clamps of the Speed Lock 2 system are at the same height as the ends of the individual segments of the pole, allowing you to instantly adapt and adjust the size to your individual needs, making the mechanism simple and intuitive to use. Comfort and freedom of movement during hiking are ensured by the perfectly shaped Aergon Air handle, designed with maximum ergonomics in mind. Its ergonomic design, with a curved angle and a deliberately extended grip, not only provides excellent support for the wrist for optimal guidance and positioning of the pole during steep climbs, but also ensures secure control of the grip, contributing to safety during trekking. It is made of natural cork, which not only has the ability to absorb sweat and insulate heat, but also to absorb shocks while providing a stable grip and safety. Integrated into the handle, the adjustable Lock Security Strap Skin 4.0 provides a wide support surface and a perfect fit, while the lightweight and especially durable synthetic fabric prevents chafing of the sensitive skin on the hand, increasing comfort during walking. The poles are finished with specially shaped, solid Flex Tip Long arrowheads made of stable and durable carbide and equipped with small Trekking Basket plates and larger, winter Big Mountain Binding plates.
Thanks to their special contouring and excellent support edge, they are guaranteed to maintain full control and grip of the pole, even on icy trails!
