EVAK VENT TECHNOLOGY - Evak Vent technology, used only in VIVID goggle models, uses a new foam made of an extremely durable, non-absorbent material. EVAK vents minimize the risk of fogging by releasing moisture while creating a protective barrier.

EXPANSION VIEW TECHNOLOGY - Expanded View Technology - Developed and refined at our R&D center in Santa Cruz, California, Giro's breakthrough technology ( EXV) is a new frame design that creates an unrivaled field of view. We started by designing a helmet-compatible goggle, then eliminated and reduced frame material and designed frameless zones to optimize the massive spherical lenses and achieve maximum peripheral vision in our goggles.

VIVID - is a patented lens technology developed by Giro in cooperation with Zeiss Optics, which improves the visual experience on snow by improving the contrast and sharpness of the image. VIVID technology effectively manipulates blue light, allowing contrasting blue light to pass through, blocking harmful UV radiation. VIVID essentially filters out cloudiness and frees your eyes to see the road ahead and focus on enjoying your ride.

VIVID reduces eye strain, improves reaction times, increases confidence and ensures precise vision without excessive color saturation.

SNAPSHOT - The Snapshot glass replacement system uses self-guiding rare earth magnets and a secure locking mechanism for quick, virtually effortless window replacement. Once the glass comes into contact with the frame, it simply snaps into place and then locks securely. When the clouds roll in, press the button, release the glass and insert the selected VIVID glass.
