CARTELLE MIPS

Cartelle MIPS has a similar design to our Montaro MIPS premium helmet and offers a compact shape, providing deep, secure head coverage and the Roc Loc 5 Fit adjustment system so you can adjust the fit and adjust the vertical position with one hand. The Cartelle MIPS® is also designed to be compatible with goggles and the P.O.V. canopy. Plus allows you to lift the canopy and place the goggles in front of the helmet. The Coolmax lining has excellent wicking properties and its extra softness provides all day comfort on the trail. The helmet is also equipped with MIPS®, a multi-directional impact protection system that redirects the energy of the impact to provide better protection for certain impacts.

TECHNOLOGY:

This is due to the fact that there are no anatomical differences between the heads of women and men, except for the average size of the skull diameter. • The Roc Loc 5 Fit System - the industry benchmark for comfort, durability, adjustment and weight saving. In addition to enhancing the fit and comfort of helmets, Roc Loc 5 allows you to easily adjust the tension and front tilt of the helmet in seconds with one hand. It is also lighter than similar systems making it the most luxurious to wear.

• MIPS - all Giro helmets are designed to reduce as much energy as possible, while meeting and exceeding strict safety standards. The aim of Giro helmets equipped with MIPS is to reduce rotational forces. Giro believes that helmets equipped with this technology can reduce the rotational force that can be transmitted to the cyclist's brain at specific impacts.

• In-Mold Construction - this construction combines a hard polycarbonate outer shell with the helmet's cushioning foam padding. The bonding process allows for better ventilation systems, making "in-mold" helmets lighter and cooler than traditional helmets.

• P.O.V. Plus visor - this hood is equipped with an adjustment mechanism that allows it to be moved up and down in a few steps. These steps include three positions and a high position to store the goggles over the eyebrows. The design allows you to easily adjust the canopy with one hand while riding.

• Wind Tunnel Wentilation - Giro helmets are designed using our proprietary Wind Tunnel ventilation system. This design combines active vents in the helmet shell with exhaust ducts inside the helmet that push fresh, cool air over and around the head of the rider while pushing hot and stale air out.
