AEROHEAD ULTIMATE MIPS
To create the Aerohead Ultimate MIPS helmet, we used every available resource to create a helmet that performs best in terms of speed, weight, style and comfort. The shell is made from TeXtreme® carbon, an advanced material that is lighter and stronger than other carbon composites. The round eye shield provides an unobstructed field of vision with great aerodynamic benefits. This shield is made by ZEISS® Optics for unparalleled transparency. The shield's magnetic mount makes it safe, yet easy to remove, and can be stored in an inclined position. Other outstanding features include the Roc Loc Air fitting system and a hydrophilic, antimicrobial pad around the eyebrows that can absorb up to ten times as much sweat as standard urethane liner. In addition, this helmet is equipped with a MIPS system that redirects the impact energy, providing greater protection in the event of some blows.

Using a patented design that keeps the helmet a little bit above the top of the skull, Roc Loc 5 Air allows cool air to flow directly over your head, enhancing the action of the vents and internal ducts that release heat from the helmet. The adjustment of the fit imitates ROC Loc 5, allowing you to easily adjust the tension and front tilt of the helmet in seconds with one hand.

- MIPS - all Giro helmets are designed to reduce as much energy as possible, while meeting and exceeding strict safety standards. The purpose of Giro helmets equipped with MIPS is to reduce rotational forces. Giro believes that helmets equipped with this technology can reduce the rotational force that can be transmitted to the cyclist's brain at specific impacts.

- Hydrophilic Padding - Hydrophilic padding can soak up to 10 times its weight, helping you cope with sweating while riding. The padding stops moisture from dripping into your eyes and then dries quickly. Antimicrobial, X-Static padding helps reduce odour, keeping your helmet fresh.

- Hybrid Construction - combines the durable ventilated Hard Shell top with the In-Mold Construction bottom shell and side walls to give it style. Thanks to the hybrid construction, the helmet is reinforced for greater durability while remaining lightweight. The hybrid construction also has cushioning and lightweight EPS lining.
