AEROHEAD MIPS
The Aerohead MIPS was designed in a wind tunnel, tested on the track and achieved record time in the Tour de France and the Ironman World Championship. It has the same silhouette as the most modern Aerohead Ultimate, but has increased ventilation to keep it cool during triathlon and trial races. With a polycarbonate shell, Wind Tunnel ventilation and internal ducting, this helmet increases cooling power while maintaining aerodynamics. In addition, the Aerohead MIPS® has an eye shield that offers an impressive field of view with the convenience of a magnetic anchor that allows you to easily store your lenses in a reclined position, making it ideal for quick changes from swimming to cycling.

Using a patented design that keeps the helmet a little bit above the top of the skull, Roc Loc 5 Air allows cool air to flow directly over your head, enhancing the action of the vents and internal ducts that release heat from the helmet. The adjustment of the fit imitates ROC Loc 5, allowing you to easily adjust the tension and front tilt of the helmet in seconds with one hand.

- MIPS - all Giro helmets are designed to reduce as much energy as possible, while meeting and exceeding strict safety standards. The purpose of Giro helmets equipped with MIPS is to reduce rotational forces. Giro believes that helmets equipped with this technology can reduce the rotational force that can be transmitted to the cyclist's brain at specific impacts.

- In-Mold Construction - this construction combines a hard polycarbonate outer shell with the helmet's cushioning foam padding. The bonding process allows for better ventilation systems, making "in-mold" helmets lighter and cooler than traditional helmets.

- Wind Tunnel Wentilation - Giro helmets are designed using our proprietary Wind Tunnel ventilation system. This design combines active vents in the helmet shell with exhaust ducts inside the helmet that push fresh, cool air over and around the head of the rider while pushing hot and stale air out.
