Zone™ MIPS helmet features an innovative hybrid design that combines the resistance of a hard shell with the lightness of an In-Mold design. Additional side walls add protection and style. The Zone MIPS features a number of features including the In Form™ 2 Fit System fitting system, a fast vertical adjustment system for proper helmet positioning, MIPS technology for better protection in the event of some typical falls, fully adjustable ventilation, a Fidlock® magnetic clasp and a sleek, integrated POV camera mount.

*ENGINEERED COMFORT
HEADY SHAPE - Giro's own headforms have been developed using a combination of precision head scans, meticulous fitting studies, and aggregation of head size and shape data across the globe. Giro also uses scaled head shapes to match our Asian fitting line.

Helmet depth - The ideal helmet depth successfully combines comfort with complete coverage of the forehead, back of the head and ears. This is achieved through careful research and prototypes printed in 3D to ensure a perfect fit in combination with low temperatures, high speeds and wind.

MIPS OFFSET - MIPS integration is taken into account from the very beginning of the helmet construction to ensure that the technology used does not affect the comfort of use. Our current line of MIPS helmets offers such a sophisticated integration that most users will never notice that the technology is there.

*FIDLOCK® MAGNETIC BUCKLE CLOSURE - the non-sticky leather, one-handed magnetic buckle Fidlock® Magnetic Snap combines the advantages of two mounting concepts in a completely new way. Strong magnets make it easy to open and close and the safety catch function ensures continuous locking force.

*GIRO AUDIO ACCESSORIES BY OUTDOOR TECH - Chips™ 2.0 cordless headphones are equipped with one-touch control buttons and contactless phone call control. The corded Chips™ headset is a versatile corded model with easy to use controls (even with gloves on) and a 10-hour playback time. Both models feature full range 40mm speakers and proven performance down to -29°C.

*HYBRID CONSTRUCTION - The hybrid design combines the durable, ventilated outer shell of a hard shell with an In-Mold inner shell combined with side walls for extra protection and style. Thanks to the Hybrid construction, the helmet is reinforced to provide greater durability - while remaining lightweight. The hybrid construction also features a lightweight, impact-absorbing EPS foam insert.

*IN FORM 2 FIT SYSTEM - The In Form 2 adjustment system is lighter and has a lower profile than the original, making it even easier to select the right fit in seconds - even with gloves on. The improved vertical tuning function allows you to accommodate a variety of goggles and head shapes to match each other without unnecessary slack.

*MPS EQUIPPED
MORE PROTECTION OF MORE PROTECTION OF CERTAIN TYPE-APPROACHED MISS - We spent many years working with MIPS designers. The technology was developed by scientists from the Karolinska Hospital and the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden. The concept is based on more than two decades of scientific research. Thanks to our extensive testing, we believe that helmets equipped with this technology provide additional protection during some typical falls. We are pleased to offer MIPS technology across the full range of Giro Snow helmets, from freestyle and All Mountain to Alpine Race and Junior models.

The main features of a helmet equipped with MIPS are: 1. inner foam pad, 2. low friction pad and 3. elastomeric mounting system. In case of angular contact, the elastomeric attachment system extends to allow the foam padding to be rotated independently around the head.

*POLARTEC
We are proud to announce our cooperation with Polartec®, a leader in the field of fabrics regulating temperature in the outdoor industry. Giro is the first helmet brand to use Polartec, allowing riders to experience plush comfort in helmet linings combined with Polartec's durable Power Grid® fabric. The original fabric was designed to maximise warmth, breathability, moisture evacuation and faster drying, while minimising unnecessary weight. Polartec Power Grid is designed to be close to the skin, providing exceptional comfort and feel thanks to a two-component knitted construction that uses different yarns to create two different surfaces - one that is optimized to carry moisture away from the skin and the other that dries quickly. To further improve riding, Polartec Power Grid fabric contains Silver Salt (Salt Chloride), which inhibits the development of unpleasant odours.

*PERFECTING FIT

These are tireless hours of research and development at the Dome, our world-class testing laboratory in Santa Cruz, California. It's science, math and technology; all backed by fitting development research, thousands of 3D head scans and user feedback that delivers a perfect fit. The result is an accurate and consistent fit for all Giro helmet and goggle models, relating to different types of construction, head shapes, sizes and fitting systems. *POV CAMERA MOUNT INTEGRATION - Our integrated POV camera mounting system is concealed, safe and very easy to use, allowing you to immediately start up your POV camera for filming or quickly detach and hide it. POV camera brackets are offered in Range MIPS, Stellar MIPS, Zone MIPS, Loss MIPS and Cipher S helmets.

*SEAMLESS COMPATIBILITY
TOTAL - Giro's helmets and goggles have been carefully designed and tested to work together as a single unit. We take into account all aspects of integration and functionality to achieve the perfect fit, comfort and performance on snow.

GOGLI MOUNTING POSITION - The correct location of the goggle mount is complemented by the Giro package. Easy integration of goggles and helmet is essential to achieve the highest performance. Risks associated with misplacement include: misplacement of the helmet on the head, reduced visibility, brain frostbite, poor ventilation and a gap between the helmet and the goggles.

*STACK VENT - Our chimney ventilation has been developed based on research showing that most of the warm air that can cause glasses to evaporate escapes from the middle upper vent of the goggles. Aligning the ventilation opening in the helmet with the goggle opening helps to keep the helmet clear and fog-free.

*PRECISION PADDING
Designing a padding zone - The Giro padding is strategically positioned to work in tandem with the head shape, helmet depth and MIPS system. The lining is positioned to provide warmth and breathability and to match the helmet's ventilation systems to achieve consistent compatibility with Giro goggles.

POSITIONING WARNINGS - Adjusting the earmuffs is a key element of fit and comfort. Each Giro helmet is tested to obtain the ideal earpiece position to provide the necessary warmth, comfort and airflow reduction, all without compromising the ability to hear the environment.

*THERMOSTAT CONTROL™
The Thermostat Control's ventilation control allows you to adjust the airflow immediately by using the simple, low-profile zipper on the outside of the helmet. No other system is faster or easier to adjust, and nothing is more effective in maintaining comfort.
