Description
Bicycle tire from the renowned MTB brand is a newer version of the Trail Boss 2.25 model. It has a more aggressive tread pattern that matches its increased width. The grip of the tires is determined by the use of larger spacing between the blocks, and the supporting side blocks are also noteworthy, as they bite deeply and deeply into the surface, thanks to which overcoming even very difficult routes becomes pure pleasure. The Trail Boss 2.4 / 2.6 is used both as a rear bicycle tire and as a front tire on paved trails.

Technologies:
- Some tires are semi slick and fast, while others are chunky and bite into the ground. The Trail Boss is something in between, it was designed as a tire for medium terrain. The tight grouping of the central blocks reduces rolling resistance, which does not prevent them from penetrating during braking. The high outer blocks provide traction at the earliest stages of cornering.
- The center blocks are scored in a direction that improves traction when accelerating and braking, increasing the amount of working edges that bite into the trail when you step on the pedals or apply the brakes. The outer blocks have notches that run parallel to the tire for better cornering grip.
- The Trail Boss 2.4 / 2.6 has slotted lugs to maximize grip when braking, and their relatively tight spacing improves the longevity of the rear bicycle tireby increasing the overall footprint to counteract strong braking forces. Larger side blocks extend beyond the sidewall to protect the tire from cuts when steering in the rear. We suggest combining the Trail Boss 2.4 / 2.6 with the Vigilante 2.5 / 2.6 on the front.
- TCS (Tubeless Compatible System) is the standardized WTB tubeless system. These tires feature a tubeless TCS carcass that virtually eliminates punctures and allows tire pressure to be lowered to improve traction and comfort compared to a traditional tubular tire.
