Roc Loc® 5 - This innovative fastening system offers a totally unique sensation, thanks to an unrivalled level of comfort, stability, adjustability and low weight. With the Roc Loc 5 attachment, you can easily set tension and adjust the vertical position with one hand. Simply turn the knob for a tighter helmet fit on difficult terrain, then unscrew and loosen it on flat sections.

AIR-FX X-STATIC - an antibacterial system in which the liners are manufactured. It contains active ions of silver which eliminate bad smell and ensure temperature regulation.

Wind Tunnel TM Ventilation system which combines active vents with internal exhaust channels, allowing fresh, cool air to flow around the cyclist's head while forcing hot and stale air out. This measurable improvement in cooling is the most important benefit offered to cyclists by Giro helmets.

MIPS - Multi-Directional Impact Protection System- This is a system that separates the helmet from the inner liner with a special extra layer placed on elastic attachments. In short, it looks like an additional thin and quite soft layer of plastic inside the helmet, which slightly "slides". It is to this that the inner sponges are attached.

This system ensures that the forces acting on the cyclist's brain during a fall are reduced. MIPS is designed to protect not only against vertical impacts, but also oblique impacts, and these are said to be the most dangerous to the head, even in a helmet. Within a few milliseconds of impact, the MIPS shell moves a few millimetres.

The system looks quite inconspicuous, but it's the reason why, during a fall, the helmet will shift minimally on the head taking the full impact.
