* ENGINEERED COMFORT
HEAD SHAPE - Giro's proprietary headforms have been developed using a combination of precise head scans, meticulous fit studies, and worldwide aggregation of head size and shape data. Giro additionally uses scaled head shapes to match our Asian Fit Line.

HELMET DEPTH - The ideal depth of the helmet successfully combines comfort with complete coverage of the forehead, back of the head and ears. We achieve this through careful testing and 3D printed prototypes to ensure a perfect match in confrontation with low temperatures, high speeds and winds.

MIPS OFFSET - MIPS integration is considered from the very beginning of the helmet construction to ensure that the technology used does not affect the comfort of use. Our current line of MIPS equipped helmets offers such sophisticated integration that most users will never notice the technology is there.

* GIRO AUDIO ACCESSORIES BY OUTDOOR TECH - Chips ™ 2.0 wireless headphones feature one-touch control buttons and hands-free phone call functionality. Chips ™ wired headphones are a versatile, wired model with easy-to-use controls (even with gloves on) and 10 hours of playtime. Both models feature 40mm full-range drivers and are proven to operate in temperatures down to -29 ° C.

* IN FORM 2 FIT SYSTEM - The In Form 2 adjustment system is lighter and has a lower profile than the original, making it even easier to select the correct fit in seconds - even with gloves on. The improved vertical alignment feature allows you to accommodate different goggles and head shapes to fit together without any unnecessary slack.

* IN-MOLD CONSTRUCTION - In-Mold construction combines a tough polycarbonate outer shell with an impact-absorbing foam insert. The fusion process allows for better ventilation systems, making In-Mold helmets lighter and better than traditional helmets.

* MIPS EQUIPPED
PROVIDING MORE PROTECTION IN CERTAIN TYPICAL FALLS - We have spent many years working with MIPS designers. The technology was developed by scientists from the Karolinska Hospital and the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden. The concept is based on over two decades of research. Thanks to our extensive testing, we believe that helmets equipped with this technology provide an extra measure of protection in some common falls. We are pleased to offer MIPS technology on the entire range of Giro Snow helmets, from freestyle to All Mountain to Alpine Race and junior models.

The main components of MIPS equipped helmets are: 1. Inner foam insert, 2. Low friction liner and 3. Elastomeric fastening system. When applied at an angle, the elastomeric attachment system stretches to allow the foam liner to rotate independently around the head.

* PASSIVE AGGRESIVE VENTING SYSTEM - Discreet design of external vents and internal channels (including insert and liner) combine for optimal airflow and temperature regulation. This automatic ventilation technology manages airflow and temperature while driving, hiking or resting.

* POLARTEC
A LEADER IN THE PRODUCTION OF TEMPERATURE REGULATING FABRICS IN THE OUTDOOR INDUSTRY - We are proud to announce our cooperation with Polartec®, the leader in the field of temperature regulating fabrics in the outdoor industry. Giro is the first helmet brand to adopt Polartec, allowing riders to experience plush comfort in the helmet linings, combined with Polartec's durable Power Grid® material. The original fabric is designed to maximize warmth, breathability, wicking away moisture and drying faster while minimizing unnecessary weight. Polartec Power Grid is designed to be close to the skin for exceptional comfort and feel thanks to the two-component knitted construction that uses different yarns to create two different surfaces - one that is optimized to wick moisture away from the skin, the other dries quickly. To further enhance the ride, Polartec Power Grid fabric contains Silver Salt (Salt Chloride), which inhibits the development of unpleasant odors.

These are tireless hours of research and development at Dome, our world-class test lab in Santa Cruz, California. It's science, math and technology; all backed by fit development research, thousands of 3D scans of the head, and the inclusion of user feedback to ensure a perfect fit. The result is an accurate and consistent fit across all Giro helmet and goggle models, covering a variety of construction types, head shapes, sizes and fit systems. * SEAMLESS COMPATIBILITY
BETTER TOGETHER - Giro's helmets and goggles have been carefully designed and tested to work smoothly together as a unit. We consider all aspects of integration and functionality for a perfect fit, comfort and performance in snow.

GOGGLE MOUNT POSITIONING - Correct goggle mount location completes the Giro Pack. Easy integration of the goggles and helmet is essential for peak performance. Risks of poor mount placement include: poor helmet fit, poor visibility, brain frostbite, poor venting, and a gap between the cash registers with goggles.

* STACK VENT - Our stack ventilation is based on research showing that most of the warm air that can cause the windows to fog up comes out of the goggle's top center vent. Aligning the helmet's vent with the goggle opening helps keep it clear and fog-free.

* PRECISION PADDING
Lining Zone Design - The Giro lining is strategically placed and goes hand in hand with the shape of the head, the depth of the helmet and the MIPS system. The lining is positioned to keep you warm and breathable, and to conform to the helmet's ventilation systems and achieve uniform compatibility with the Giro goggles.

EARPHONE POSITIONING - Earpad adjustment is a key element for fit and comfort. Each model of Giro helmet is tested to achieve the perfect alignment of the earcups to provide the necessary warmth, comfort and airflow reduction, all without compromising the ability to hear your surroundings.
