The FORCE FREEZE winter cycling socks, also suitable for other sports, are made from 50% merino wool, the highest quality natural material sourced from merino sheep. It provides excellent thermal insulation while regulating body temperature, keeping it within a constant and comfortable range. When it's cold, the fibres trap air, which is one of the best insulators of heat, so you warm up more efficiently because the heat energy generated by your body does not escape and is not wasted in the cold. On the other hand, when it's hot outside, the same fibres carry away excess heat in the form of vapour, leaving your skin dry and not overheated. In addition, it is highly breathable - wicking away moisture and perspiration, so even during intense exertion it prevents you from feeling, wet, cold and clammy.
