Features:

Midline, transition zone and outer tread... all areas have massive blocks. Tall knobs that dig deep, with lengths that stand up to hard braking and thick, supportive bases that won't flex no matter how hard you push them. Verdict and forget about front tyre wash times.

Verdict treads have been updated with improved block and notch shapes to prevent flexing and increase cornering support while extending tread life. Notch depth has been reduced on the outermost blocks to improve support without sacrificing grip on wet roots and rocks. The tread profile has also been updated to improve predictability during cornering and provide a smoother transition from the centreline to the side blocks.

A continuous open channel between the centre and side blocks provides separate zones of excellent grip during braking and cornering. The large open space between all blocks allows the tread to dig in the driest days of summer and throw mud in the wettest months.

Designed to primarily dig deep and improve grip in corners. There are countless possible configurations, but to start we suggest combining the Verdict 2.5 with the Judge 2.4 at the rear. The Verdict/Judge combination keeps the front end upright while you steer the rear. The Verdict 2.5 has also proven to be a great rear tyre for e-bikes that need unparalleled grip on loose or wet terrain.

Technologies:

TRITEC
TriTec combines three different rubber compounds to provide different levels of grip, support and durability depending on their placement in the tread. High hardness rubber forms the basis for the entire tread pattern, and even extends slightly to the base of each block, providing additional support underneath the softer compounds used in the rest of each block. The middle blocks are made from a medium hardness compound that provides grip and durability without sacrificing rolling performance, while the outer blocks are made from the softest compound for maximum grip and slow rebound.

LIGHT HIGH GRIP
A glue-like rubber compound that adapts to irregularities, designed to be compliant yet remarkable. Who says High Grip has to be heavy?

TCS (Tubeless Compatible System)
WTB's standardised tubeless system. These tyres have a tubeless TCS casing, which almost eliminates punctures and allows for lower tyre pressures to improve grip and comfort compared to a traditional tubeless tyre.

SG2
TCS Light single ply mountain tyres are available with SG2 puncture protection. SG2 is a lightweight nylon ply that protects all areas of the tyre with an extra level of puncture protection. Bead-to-bead SG2 technology also improves sidewall stability and overall tyre support without the added weight of a Tough (dual ply) casing. The flat nylon fibres in SG2 reduce the amount of rubber needed to fill the gaps between the fibres compared to traditional protective layers with round fibres. The increased fibre to rubber ratio increases puncture resistance while reducing weight and improving flexibility compared to our Tough guard. Independent laboratory tests have shown that Bead-to-bead SG2 provides 80% better sidewall protection than traditional single ply tyres without SG2.
