WTB TRAIL BOSS Comp bike tire, 29'' 2,25

A truly versatile bike tyre, the TRAIL BOSS Comp by WTB. Some tyres are semi slick and fast while others are massive and bite into the ground, the Trail Boss Comp is something in between! Designed as a mid-terrain tyre, the tight grouping of the centre blocks reduces rolling resistance, which doesn't prevent them from digging in under braking, while the high outer blocks provide grip in the earliest stages of cornering. The centre blocks are notched in a direction that improves grip under acceleration and braking, increasing the amount of working edge that bites into the trail as you press the pedals or apply the brakes, while the outer blocks have notches that run parallel to the tyre to provide better grip in corners.
