AGGRESSIVE TREAD DESIGN

REINFORCED SIDE KNOBS
The high side knobs are supported by a raised base that prevents them from folding under the impact of strong cornering forces.

FRONT-FOCUSED DESIGN
All elements of the Vigilante have been designed to improve traction in corners as a front tyre. Aggressive outer knobs dig into corners, while directional sipes tackle rocks and roots in both wet and dry conditions.

TUBELESS COMPATIBLE
TCS (Tubeless Compatible System) is WTB's standardised tubeless system. These tyres feature a tubeless TCS carcass that nearly eliminates punctures and allows for lower tyre pressure, improving traction and comfort compared to traditional tubeless tyres.

TRITEC COMPOUND
TriTec combines three different rubber compounds to provide different levels of traction, support and durability depending on their location in the tread. High hardness rubber forms the basis of the entire tread pattern to provide additional support below the softer compounds used in the rest of each knob. The middle knobs are made from a medium hardness compound to provide traction and durability without sacrificing rolling performance, while the outer knobs are made from the softest compound for maximum grip.

PUNCTURE PROTECTION SG2
TCS Light single ply mountain tyres are available with SG2 puncture protection. SG2 is a lightweight nylon layer that protects all areas of the tyre, providing an extra level of protection against punctures and pinch flats. SG2 also improves sidewall stability and overall tyre support without the added weight of a strong (dual ply) casing. The flat nylon fibres in the SG2 tyre reduce the amount of rubber needed to fill the gaps between the fibres compared to traditional round-fibre protective layers. The increased fibre to rubber ratio increases puncture resistance while reducing weight and improving flexibility compared to our Tough casings. Tests by independent laboratories have shown that the SG2 bead-to-bead tyre provides 80% more sidewall protection than traditional single ply tyres without SG2.
