Technologies:

HEAD SHAPE - Giro's proprietary head forms were developed using a combination of precision head scans, meticulous fit testing and aggregation of head size and shape data from around the world. 

HELMET DEPTH - The ideal helmet depth successfully combines comfort with complete coverage of the forehead, back of the head and ears. This is achieved through careful research and 3D printed prototypes to ensure a perfect fit when confronted with low temperatures, high speeds and wind.

*IN FORM™ FIT SYSTEM - The In Form adjustment system makes it easy to select the right fit in seconds - even with gloves on. An ergonomic knob at the base of the helmet provides up to 6 cm of adjustment and increases stability. The vertical fine-tuning function, accommodates different goggles and head shapes for a snug fit without unnecessary play.

*IN-MOLD CONSTRUCTION - In-Mold construction combines a tough polycarbonate outer shell with an impact-absorbing foam liner. The fusion process allows for better ventilation systems, making In-Mold helmets lighter and better than traditional helmets.

GOGGLE MOUNT POSITIONING - The correct positioning of the goggle mount completes the Giro package. It is essential to integrate goggles and helmet easily to achieve the highest performance. Hazards associated with poor mount placement include: poor helmet positioning on the head, reduced visibility, brain frostbite, poor venting and a gap between the helmet and goggles.

DESIGNED LINING ZONES - Giro's liner is strategically placed and goes to work in tandem with your head shape, helmet depth and MIPS system. The liner is positioned to provide warmth and breathability, and to match the helmet's ventilation systems to achieve uniform compatibility with Giro goggles.

Earmuff POSITIONING - The adjustment of the earmuffs is a key element of fit and comfort. Each Giro helmet model is researched to achieve the ideal ear cup positioning to provide the necessary warmth, comfort and wind reduction, all without compromising the ability to hear your surroundings.

The helmet does not have a MIPS system.
