You've seen the KNIT technology in sports shoes before, but it's new to bicycle boots because they require a mix of flexible comfort and a strong construction that sports shoes don't provide. The Empire™ E70 Knit boots feature a unique Xnetic™ Knit uppers, specially developed for cycling with a TPU skeleton system and a nylon technical core that provides the support you need to get the most out of your pedal rotation, while remaining airy and flexible and comfortable, just like in a sock. Xnetic Knit is also DWR-impregnated for waterproofing and easy cleaning, while reinforced toes and heels increase durability and abrasion resistance. When you combine Xnetic Knit with the original Easton sole, you get a powerful combination that is also a step forward in bike shoe design.
