In the Latch mountain bike shoe, we started with a new fit that brings the foot closer to the pedal and flattens the sole profile, optimising the contact area between sole and pedal. We then worked with the rubber engineering team to develop Tack Rubber, a highly flexible compound that combines grip with durability in our new Gamma tread. At the heart of the shoe is the sensational Mute Foam, a midsole foam that's specifically designed for slow recovery, reducing vibration and shock to help you maintain contact with the pedal, regardless of ruts, roots or rocks. The unique combination of fit, quick-drying microfiber upper, Tack Rubber grip and Mute Foam dampening makes the Latch the new benchmark in performance.
