Bexley MIPS is a combination of style and technology. This is our top-of-the-line city helmet. It features an integrated rear light for extra visibility and a retractable eye shield. The compact shape of the Bexley MIPS does not overwhelm your personal style, yet it provides a wider coverage and the plush, antibacterial lining helps keep the helmet fresh and comfortable throughout the season. The retractable and interchangeable grey-silver shiny cover protects your eyes from wind and glare, especially when riding an electric bike faster, and the integrated rear light makes the entire rear panel of the helmet shine, greatly improving visibility on the road. The Roc Loc City Air system provides a perfect fit and ventilation, while four large adjustable vents provide plenty of cooling power for city adventures. • MIPS - all Giro helmets are designed to reduce as much energy as possible, while meeting and exceeding strict safety standards. The aim of Giro helmets equipped with MIPS is to reduce rotational forces. Giro believes that helmets equipped with this technology can reduce the rotational force that can be transmitted to the cyclist's brain at specific impacts.
• Hybrid Construction - combines the durable ventilated Hard Shell top with the In-Mold Construction bottom shell and side walls to give it style. Thanks to the hybrid construction, the helmet is reinforced for greater durability while remaining lightweight. The hybrid construction also has cushioning and lightweight EPS lining.

• MIPS - Multi-Directional Impact Protection System - This is a system that separates the helmet from the inner lining with a special additional layer placed on the flexible hooks. In short, it looks like an extra thin and fairly soft layer of plastic in the middle of the helmet, which slides slightly. This is where the inner sponges are attached to it. This system ensures that the forces that act on the cyclist's brain during a fall are reduced. MIPS is supposed to protect not only from vertical but also oblique impacts, and these are said to be the most dangerous for the head, even in a helmet. Within a few milliseconds the MIPS shell moves a few millimetres. The system looks quite inconspicuous, but it is thanks to it that, during a fall, the helmet will move at least on the head taking the whole impact.
