It is not without reason that the BELL 3R bike helmet can be called universal. Thanks to its removable jaw, the Super 3R adapts to any situation from trail riding, long steep climbs to descents of all levels.

The Super 3R provides everything you need to get on the trail. It is designed to meet the ever-changing needs of trail riding thanks to its unique detachable jaw technology, which basically gives you two helmets in one. On long uphill climbs you can unfasten the jaw and put it in your backpack, then attach it to increase confidence in difficult technical terrain. The easy, tool-free clamping and unclamping process takes just seconds. The Float Fit Fit system is lighter and more comfortable, with a rubberized, oval knob, and the twist-off straps that make the helmet fit even better. Other features include our adjustable GoggleGuide canopy, camera mount and Overbrow Ventilation inlets. The Super 3R has an MIPS (Multidirectional Impact Protection System), which can provide additional protection in the event of certain impacts.

Ventilation holes over the eyebrows at the front of the helmet allow cool air to be introduced and pushed through the air ducts to ventilate the entire head.

MIPS - Multi-Directional Impact Protection System - This is a system that separates the helmet from the inner lining with a special additional layer placed on the flexible hooks. In short, it looks like an extra thin and fairly soft layer of plastic in the middle of the helmet, which slides slightly. This is where the inner sponges are attached to it.

This system ensures that the forces that act on the cyclist's brain during a fall are reduced. MIPS is supposed to protect not only from vertical but also oblique impacts, and these are said to be the most dangerous for the head, even in a helmet. Within a few milliseconds the MIPS shell moves a few millimetres.

The system looks quite inconspicuous, but it is thanks to it that, during a fall, the helmet will move at least on the head taking the whole impact.

Construction: The combination of a polycarbonate shell in the In-Mold process - A process pioneered by Bell - connects the outer shell of the helmet with the EPS foam construction to create a stronger helmet.
