Isotonic Sports Drink, consisting of carbohydrates and electrolytes, is an isotonic sports drink powder for athletes. The powder should be mixed with water. Thanks to the specially selected Malto dextrin, water and powder will mix quickly. The body will absorb it quickly and easily.

A drink in which there is a clever 2:1 ratio between glucose and fructose. Glucose (also known as dextrose) is the most important source of fuel for our body. Therefore, the ratio between glucose and fructose must be well chosen. With a normal diet, you can convert a maximum of around 60 grams of sugar into energy per hour. With a 2:1 ratio between glucose and fructose, the conversion rate can increase to 90 grams. Your body will have more energy available for exercise.

The drink has high levels of essential minerals (sodium, magnesium, calcium, potassium, phosphorus). Eurosport Nutrition aims to provide enough minerals in an isotonic drink to make up for all the deficiencies that are naturally lost during exercise through sweating. The pH of the drink is 3.5-4.0, which means that there is a balance between taste and isotonic properties. The taste is great and the delivery of new carbohydrates is faster. Below a pH of 3.0, the drink would be acidic and would probably cause stomach problems. Above 5.5 the drink would no longer be palatable.
