Unlike the oat bar, which has a prolonged energy release after consumption, the energy bar is a quick source of energy. There is a clever 2:1 ratio between glucose and fructose in this bar. Glucose (also known as dextrose) is the most important source of fuel for our body. Therefore, the ratio between glucose and fructose must be well chosen. With a normal diet, you can convert a maximum of around 60 grams of sugar into energy per hour. With a 2:1 ratio between glucose and fructose, the conversion rate can increase to 90 grams. Your body will have more energy available for exercise.

Eurosport Nutrition presses the bars at temperatures up to 45 degrees Celsius. This helps to preserve the natural vitamins and minerals.
