The Fly Teams bicycle bidon from the prestigious Italian brand Elite is currently the lightest 550ml sports bottle available on the world market, used by the major 2022 WorldTour, Professional, Continental and Triathlon race teams! It has been made from biodegradable, resistant yet soft plastic that seamlessly returns to its original shape when the bidon is pressurised, and has a wall thickness of just 0.6mm, which has a positive impact on weight and flexibility. The record-breaking weight of 54 g, has been achieved thanks to the innovative variable thickness design,
thicker at the base and thinner in the middle, not only allows less plastic to be used, but also provides a firm grip when cycling and an easy to squeeze ergonomic structure so that liquid flow is plentiful at the slightest pressure. The Fly Teams model has a 20% larger cap than other bidons, allowing for easier pouring of liquids, or its bidon, plus it has been fitted with a larger mouthpiece for increased ergonomics and ease of opening/closing while riding.
