Classic rear-mounted racks are applicable to frames that have the appropriate mounting holes. Most often it is mounted in four points - two on the frame near the axis of the rear wheel and two on the upper tubes of the rear triangle of the frame.

What to look for when buying a bicycle rack?
One of the elements that is worth paying attention to when looking for the right bicycle rack is material of manufacture. Aluminum and steel models are popular. Manufacturers also offer structures made of titanium tubes, less often of plastic.
The material used in the manufacture of the boot affects its performance weight. basic model aluminum weighs approx. 600-900 grams and can carry weights up to approx. 25 kg. First, you should check whether there are appropriate mounting holes in the bicycle frame. They should be located in the frame tubes near the rear wheel axle and in the vicinity of the crossbar connecting the seatstays.
The choice of trunk also depends on type of brakes. In the case of rim brakes, virtually any carrier fits the bike. The situation is different with disc brakes. Make sure that the brake caliper on the rear wheel does not obstruct the lower mounting hole of the boot. If that's the case, a rack mounted under disc brakes will be the best choice.
