The ALPINA ALTO V newly designed and perfectly functioning visor opening mechanism (TRM) sets new standards in terms of comfort. Thanks to the TRM, the visor fits tightly to the face, thus helping to position the helmet compactly and comfortably on the head. ALPINA's high-tech lenses ensure optimum visibility and sharp contrast. The ALPINA ALTO active ventilation structure guarantees active ventilation.

TECHNOLOGIES USED:

• AIRSTREAM CONTROL- The vents on the top of the helmet can be opened and closed using the Airstream Control mechanism. In this way, the air flow can be adjusted and adapted to the weather conditions.
  
• ERGOMATIC- Strap buckle with red button and multi-stage automatic locking mechanism. Ergomatic can be operated with one hand - you can loosen the strap on the way up and tighten it on the way down - and during a fall the locking mechanism will not open automatically.
  
• FIDLOCK- The self-acting, magnetic locking mechanism is thus very convenient when putting the helmet on and taking it off. One-handed operation is quick and intuitive, with no risk of pinching the skin.
  
• HARDSHELL- The helmet consists of a Hi-EPS core and an impact-resistant outer shell made of ABS or polycarbonate. This combination provides maximum safety.
  
• Hi-EPS- the inner shell of all Alpina helmets is made of Hi-EPS (High Expanded Polystyrene). This material has microscopically small air chambers which absorb the forces acting on the helmet in the event of an impact.
  
• LAVALAN- an insulating material made from sheep's wool, used as a liner in ALPINA ski helmets to provide extra comfort.
  
• MIRROR- a lens to which multiple reflective layers have been applied. These provide protection against harsh glare and infrared light. Mirror is not only a feature of a highly functional lens, it is an element of style.
  
• RUN SYSTEM CLASSIC- a simple knob that allows you to adjust the helmet to your head so that it stays securely on your head. 
  
• VARIOFLEX- is a lens technology in which the lens tint automatically adjusts to the weather. The self-tinting (photochromatic) lens reacts to visible light. When exposed to radiation, the chemical elements open up and create a flat, tinting effect.
  
• Y-CLIP- the helmet can only provide the best possible protection if it remains in the optimum position in the event of an impact. The adjustment and attachment of the two ear straps plays a decisive role. The Y-clip system ensures precise adjustment to the millimetre - in a matter of seconds.
